She lay on the floor Everything she owned tore Felt empty to the core Over a boy who was there no more
She cried until the mess began to sway Rested her head on the carpet where she lay She let her worries fall away As her eyes fell shut for the day
She awoke to the gastly sight Of what she had created that night She was burned by the morning light As she began to regain her fight
She left for a summer of fun Sort of went on the run Out of the hot valley sun She felt like she had finally won
She went to a camp Where there was a fire not a lamp Felt she could finally be free to jump Over everything keeping her in her slump
The death of her best friend Lost her sisters at the end A boy who left her with a heart to mend She was over all she had to tend
