28 November 2012
Up goes the lights,
the holly and the tree.
Up goes the wreath,
Twinkling for me.
Up goes the tinsel,
Stretching oh-so far.
The baubles are added on,
And to top it off the star.
It's not even December,
An early Christmas is here.
Watching carefully over,
Is Santa's loyal reindeer.
The presents have been bought,
Wrapped, ribboned, sealed.
Hiding longingly away,
Until they are revealed.
Angels are proclaiming,
Spreading their golden wings.
A group of carol singers arrive,
Humming Christmas hymns.
The children are buzzing,
Leaving the parents to fret.
But what you're all forgetting-
IT'S NOT CHRISTMAS YET!
