The curse of my family Must be repeated. Passed on for generations, Is everyone seated?
It was a stormy night, Winds howled and roared, There was a knock on the door, And it had to be ignored. But this knock persisted, Getting louder and urgent, Until we opened the door, "we need some detergent" I slammed the door in their face, Was that a joke? 12 o'clock at night, Give their clothes a soak? They came back at two, In the midst of lightening, I have got to say, They were frightening! Give us the powder, Or you will pay, Struck by a curse, Your loved ones dead by the day. I was shaking in the boots, Quivering in the bones. "look, there's no detergent Why not take out some loans ?" With that he left, With a flourish of his coat He didn't leave without a curse, to rock my boat: It begins with warts, And a throaty cough, The next day you'll find Your hand cut off. Things will get worse, Your mother will die, So will your spouse, In the grave they will lie. The morning of Saturday, You will break your neck, Be buried alive, No one will check. Your family will be cursed To pass on this tale, The one handed family, Who are off the rail.
