The ring of toadstools, And ivy intertwined. They beckon you to join, To be one of their kind.
Once your feet enter, Their's a big change. The world turns dark and cold, Everything looks strange.
Their faces are no longer fresh, Their eyes no longer bold. Smiles are all gone, And hair which was once gold.
They take your hand tightly, Hypnotize you into a trance. You find your feet moving, You're part of the faerie dance.
Your fingers are knarled, Your hair in grey tatters. Within minutes you forgotten, Everything that matters.
You spy a young girl, Her face a fresh gem. It's only when she's joined, You realise... You're one of them.
