Don't know whether to carry this on...
I shuffle around, unable to see through the crowd of people in the station. The train pulls in, gliding gracefully to a halt. the doors slowly creak open, letting off the passengers, who jump down the steps impatiently. I crane my neck, and stand up on my tiptoes to get a better view, to see if Joseph is there, among the passengers exiting the stationary train. Then is spot him. A head of golden hair is moving towards me rapidly, telling me he's seen me too. "Joseph!" I cry, and run towards him, as he engulfs me in his arms. Right now, I think, there's nowhere else I'd rather be.
" how are you, dear one?" He asks on the way home. I smile, replying
" I'm happy now that you're here, Joseph." as we reach our house, I lean in to kiss him, and he kisses me back urgently. I gently break away, ushering him into our warm, welcoming, cosy cottage. I put a steaming plate of food in front of him, and sink into a chair neatly. "So. Tell me all about India. "
