Jacob tried to force the words through his dry, chapped lips . He only managed one word :
'why ? ' he croaked
'because you are the key . You are exactly what we need !' one of the hooded figures replied , this made absolutely no sense at all to Jacob ,so the word slipped out again
'why '
'Remember dear old mummy ? Remember what happened ?!'
'no'
But , the truth was , Jacob did remember his mum , yes, his memories were faded ; unsure , but he did remember . It pained him to think about it ...
