A loyal companion
In my image
It is our canine friend
The paws
The barks
The shaking of a tail
A friend and a lover
Isn't afraid to show you companionship
Will notice when you a down
Will notice when you are excited
Will cheer you on
Will even inspire you
It is my favorite in the animal kingdom
Because of the main reason
That they are not afraid
To show their gratitude
Of being your friend
Will stick by your side
Even until the day you die
Forever and always
They will be in my mind
