Deceiving

A poem I wrote for my English assessment;

Thin black strands floating in the wind.
A face. It turned and grinned.
A stranger from an outpost,
Pale and translucent as a ghost.
Grey depthless eyes,
As of Lucius may rise
Out from them.

Gliding through the street, the cherub
Of death could be her cub.
Spiders spin webs in her brain.
Feel no joy, not even a grain.
Claws as sharp as knives.
They say she could take lives
With her gaze.

Alas, looks deceive. Only a mould
Covering up her true heart of gold.
