Slowly I opened my eyes. I was in the infirmary room on a white bed. Alwyn and two others had their backs to me and were arguing over something that I couldn't quite work out "but what if he finds out..." "We won't let him..." "We could use it for good and..." "Find out what?" I interrupted the three adults seemed startled by me as if they'd only just noticed I was in the room. "Ah you're awake!" Exclaimed Alwyn, pushing his glasses further back on his nose. "Find out what?" I repeated crossly. "You don't need to know," answered one of the other men, a tall thin man in his early thirties wearing a posh suit and an expensive tie, "all you need to know is that you are safe here and we will begin your lessons tomorrow." "Lessons?" "Yes, we have found a way for you to learn the way of Druids even though none of us know how to control water," said Alwyn, "for now you will join the air Druids."

I was led outside to where a group of about twelve students were lined up in a white uniform, their gaze followed me as I walked to the end of the line. A slim woman in her twenties stood at the front with blonde hair and pale skin. "Good morning fellow Druid. What is your name?" "James," I answered. "Well James, with us,You will be controlling the water vapour in the air. It should be just the same as controlling pure air. As you're new we'll start by teaching you the basics. Watch and copy." She stood in neutral then stepped forward, swung her arms to her her right side in the lotus position (fingers outstretched and wrists together) and pushed forward hands still In the lotus position. A soft breeze swept across my face. "That was it in slow motion if you we're to do it properly you would do it faster like this..." She repeated it quickly and a gush of wind sent me back three paces. "My turn..." I mumbled angrily. I mirrored her move with ease, but I could see the water ripple through the air and send her back three paces. "Not bad," I said proudly, smirking at her shocked face, "what's next."
