In the jewelry box is all things beautiful. In the jewelry box is all things glittery. In the jewelry box is all things gold. In the jewelry box my necklace hides my childish secret.
In the jewelry box is all things ugly. In the jewelry box is all things broken. In the jewelry box is all things rusty. In the jewelry box my necklace hides my dirty secret. Kind of like life and love, Inside that jewelry box.
A heart turns rusty after too many heart-breaks.
The world is ugly, Or beautiful, Depending on how you look upon it.
And the world is gold, Gold with greed, Greed of golden money.
Love hides dirty secrets, A number scrawled on a piece of paper, Who is that man? Your husband asks.
Funny how such a simple jewelry box can hide such horrible things from our poor visioned eyes...
