'Come get your flags! £5 for a big one and £2 for a little one!' A man shouts.
Slush Puppies are in everyone's hands, And lollies are also selling good.
The crowd cheers as I wave the flag, Along comes the last of the traffic, Followed by a few police men on bikes trying to get them to leave quickly.
Along comes the collage bus, A witty kid waves from top deck, Everyone cheers and even the bus driver attempts a smile.
Next come the buses. Coca-Cola, Samsung, And Lloyds TSB. Cheerleaders wave from the top.
The Olympic Torch Relay buses and cars drive past, I got a high five off a policeman! And a Chinese guy too!
One more Olympic Torch Relay bus and the Torch Carrier runs past, He smiles and waves at the crowd, His torch held high for all to see, My! He is proud!
One second more and he's out of sight. We all rush back to the pavement and the road begins to flow like normal again. Excited chit chat about the torch is next, But I am hungry! Oh, It's ok, Looks like a tea of fish and chips is up next!
