OMG! Chapter 7

Tears flew from my eyes as I accelerated. I'd passed my test, just I wasn't insured to drive Dom's Land-rover-but it didn't matter to me anymore...

This was wrong. Dom had left us and now I was in HIS car! Had someone taken him? Had he run off? Did he hate me? Questions was flying around my brain... My world slowed down and turned black...

I must have blacked out because when I awoke Beth was looking at me worriedly and saying,
"Claire? Claire! Wake up!" she began to cry... I sat up,
"I'm fine, I'm fine."
"Claire!" she grabbed be into a hug.
"OMG I thought you were dead!" she cried.
"Well I'm not am I?" I grinned at her and we both burst out laughing. I looked around for Dom. He wasn't there. Then I remembered how he'd disappeared and began to cry again... Then, with tears in my eyes, jumped into the rover with Beth and hit the road once again.
"We're lucky we didn't crash-it was only because I saw you black out that I grabbed the steering wheel and pulled over." Beth said looking shaken.
"Hey, don't stress, I won't do it again." I smiled and we both laughed.

I turned the key in the lock and we walked inside the flat. I started crying again and Beth put the kettle on to cheer me up-almost scolding herself in the process. After twenty minutes or so there was a knock at the door. I answered it to find Dom sheepishly stood there.
"Er... You better come in..." I said throwing Beth a worried look. He sat down on the sofa and I perched on the edge of the chair. Beth sensed trouble and stayed in the kitchen.
"Where have you been?" I yelled at him.
"No where..." he said looking down at the floor.
"Well obviously you have!" I shouted.
"Well I only went to H. Samuels." he said, still looking down.
"Why?" I screamed.
"To get this..." and with that he got down on one knee and said,
"Claire Redson-will you marry me?"
