What is peace to you?
Another used up druggie gone down for crime?
A hippie? Smoking weed and listening to music?
You think that's peace?
All spinning in his head, Crazy, Unsteady, Hallucinating, Bending, Forming shapes...
At the wheel he's having trouble, Steering the vehicle, When he sees monsters around him he is terrified, And while looking at the monsters, Shouting for them to leave...
An innocent driver on the road, Last Friday night, Before the next Friday when he marries his fiancée...
All in a flash his life is over, All ahead of him like that, Flashes before him, Then his single flame is put out...
Hippie in the camper van, Crashed into the little guy, So young he was, Shame he had to die.
Hippie now on his knees, He asks his God,
"God please, what is peace?"
*the bit about the mans 'single flame' has references to Macbeth.
