Over the ledge I dangle my foot

Like a testing of temperature,

The water seems warm

And the air looks clear

She’s swimming

Down below

I know it,

Though I

Cannot

See her

Dipping

Roller

Coaster

Undulations

Sweeping coral, curling tail

Around the rocks she motions

As a beckoning finger up towards me

All this ocean rush would hush the clutter

Clanging metal banging around my skull shaking

Soaked up in the sea green blues she paints with the swish of her tail

I want to dive - to see her smile horizon wide - and swim in to the depths of

her
