Christmas comes but once a year,

But every time I'm filled with fear.

Not fear that gifts I send are wrong,

But fear it lasts a bit too long.

I fear that life gets put on hold,

I fear the weather turns bitter cold.

But the biggest fear, I have to say,

Is that people just get in my way.
