Some things are better left unsaid A proverb I choose not to believe Cause when you feel it rising a secret sears the skin And life can barely be lived As if our fathers judgement wasn't pain enough You've taken personal judgement as well You defecate the name of your god You defecate the name of your god
Perhaps you can consider contradiction As my my pen it passes judgement on you Though I stake no claim toward my creator My claim belongs in humanity
Love the sinner not the sin Or forget them all when you don't get what you want
It must be hard for you to follow And not to let your arrogance lead When it's you that knows right from wrong Remember the fall was the fall of us all And that means no exceptions
How can you let your ego stand between us Stand as it does Stand as it does And you'll stand alone
When taken from our pedestals and left on level ground Maybe you'll see what a fool you've been
As the ivy grows between us and true judgement reigns
