I pass you everyday in the hallway, smiling at you as I go.

I see you everyday in class and try to impress you with my (lack of) knowledge.

I laugh with you at lunch time, realising the more of the millions of things we have in common.

I turn to you when I'm in distress hoping you will be my knight in shining armour.

And then I see you, your arms wrapped around my best friend.
