There is a fan theory that all the creatures in spongebob are actually the result of nuclear testing. Think about it, they are all in bikini bottom, which is a real place near bikini atoll, an island used for nuclear testing during the Second World War. Also, all the explosion shown on the program are mushroom clouds....coincidence?
