Did you forget?

Did you forget gluing your eyes to me?

Did you forget holding my hand?

Did you forget sitting close enough to breath my air,

Or to feel my heartbeat?

And what about those times when you said you loved me?

Probably a lie,

Your life's story.

But don't you forget,

That i still remember.

I relive it every day,

The silent words that would convey a speech,

And the shy voice that struggled to speak.

I did not forget.

But i wonder how you forgot,

When you told me you felt the same about me as I did about you.

Lies reverberate throughout your soul,

Chanting misconceptions,

And yearning to be heard.

Well, I hope you know,

I didn't forget you,

Or your gestures,

Or your fables,

Or your personality,

And I certainly didn't forget the lies I believed for too long.
