As I trudge up the untamed hills, my boots crunching the tall, thick grass, my foot prints time will erase, I stop short at the very top, as does my heart. There, in the sunlighten afternoon, with the sky crystal blue, like an untainted jamacian shore, I stare up at an immense, dazzling rainbow castle. It's walls are 2 elephants high, thick as 3, with pretty nooks and crannys. There were towers, some thin as nails, some thick as town cars, all decorated in multicolored gems that the sunlight bounced off of happily, giving the grass bellow rainbow hues everywhere you look. A pinch of emerald here, a dash of pink, an uncharted ocean of all shades of blues. Rubies dart around the castle quick as they can, and the lime greens embrace the walls in luminous light. The walls of the castle seem to be made out of tresuare, golden ambers and crystal clear diamonds. My eyes tear up at the rainbow lights, and with a sharp intake of breath, i gentley brush the back of my hand along the bumby, beauty-studded walls. I knew I would never find this beauty again. I thought of taking a picture, some crystals, something to hold on to of the most beautiful thing on earth. But instinct won over; this world needs more beauty in it. Even if no one can see it. I couldn't let this shred of a rainbow, a gift from heaven, be torn apart by the angry hands of society. No, this must be saved. So, i walked away, with a new, rainbow glimmer in my eyes.
(This is my first short, well, i don't know... But i'm 12, and I hope you enjoy'd it ;) )
