Dream's And Magic

"magic is not real"
Says the ignorent as they prance.
"Dreams are just a 'feel'"
Says the dumb as they dance.

You and I, Me and You.
We know so much more.
We know that dreams are woven with truth,
In every shape and form.

Of course, they scold us.
Tell us we're wrong.
Tell us were delirious,
It's a truth and lie ping pong.

So...

For those who don't believe.
Who tell us we're insane.
Who tell us we're decieved.
Who tell us we're in pain.

You may think we're weird.
That we don't know a thing.
But while you're scratching your idiot beard,
Try to really think!

If dreams and magic weren't true,
If we lied like some bums,
Were did me and him and you,
Ever come truely from?

From whispers in the pillow, fair!
From dreaming about you!
From magic in the heated air,
From dreams come real and true.

Slow Burn

Slow burn. Worlds turn. And yet they stay. In their place today. Times change. And rearrange. Embrace the new. When they look for you. The old will seem. Like a fading dream. They hide, they guide.

Stars

There are those that do believe. That the stars represent our souls. Our lost ones looking over us. Watching how our lives unfold. But I believe the stars. Represent wishes held in our hearts.

Words

Words are my toys, that bend and do not break. Like an unbreakable sword, double edged, give or take.

Phantom

Phantom, with your eyes so bright, Can you take away the night. Phantom, with your heart so cold, Can you keep me young and old. Phantom, with your diamond vice, Can you take my heart of ice.

Fade

Standing on the very verge of what was once a perfect world, With nothing but a shard of glass, an era, come to pass without a word.

The Tiniest Bird

Who was it that heard the word of the tiniest bird and heard what it spoke that was full of such love and life that it fell from above - who was it that heard this dove.

Evanescence

The pale skin is tightened, Pulled across the shattered bones, Wrapped around the once pure veins in vain, Of shielding from the stones.
