I don't know how long I could take it, it was unknown pain for anyone. At the moment I was getting whipped while pulling a cart full of dead body's. It felt like years, decades, a lifetime. So far I had been burnt, whipped, stoned, and many others which pain me to say, so I won't. As I lay on the floor wincing, I knew what I had to do, they were going to keep this up for centuries, I had to escape.
"oi! Pretty boy times up for today, see ya tomorrow" smirked a ugly soul. I got dragged out of the fire pit and felt a rush of cool air meet my body as stepped out. They told me I had to walk back to the penthouse, so I did. As I stumbled down the street, dead souls and fallen angels sniggered at me, news travels fast in Hell, when I got to the door of the hotel I slumped down onto the step. My back burnt with pain, my whole body ached. I ripped my shirt off as I was starting to stick to my body from the blood. I looked at my stomach and saw that it was now a milky red. The hotel door creaked open and I fell to the feet of Helen
"shit Aden! What happened?" she said shocked at my state, I was to tiered to reply so I merely grunted.
"Don't worry I'll get some help" she said soothingly, a moment later I felt two muscular arms pull my up. I winced as they pulled me across the floor and into the lift
"I'll take him from there, thanks" said Helen. The lift stopped at the top floor and I felt Helen try to help me walk, I used my last growth of energy to help her out and I carried myself to my room. I lay down on my bed and winced as my back hit the sheets
"what happened?" asked Helen shyly as I propped myself up
"I've been seeking God's help. I hate Hell, Lucifer found out, I'm being tortured everyday until I finally die" I said thinking about what I could of been
"oh Aden" Helen sighed "what are we gonna do" she wined
"nothing there's nowhere I can go" I said weakly, I looked at her and gave her a faint smile. Her blue eyes lit up
"yes there is!" she squealed
"what?" I asked confused
"you need to leave right?"
"yeah"
"the train that leaves to go to the kingdom!"
"whats that?"
"well its not a train, it's a portal really. It will take you to earth" earth? But I'm an angel not a human.
"but-but" I stuttered
"we should go now, it's night no one would be out." I stared at her, I only had earth left I guess
"fine, let's go then" I said standing up, but stumbling into the bed post
"I need to heal you first" she said raising a hand,
"whoa! You don't heal here, only pain remember?"
"your my only friend I need to help you out" she smiled, I felt a warm heat creep across my black heart. I smiled at her.
"aww your ickle dimples!" she said in a baby voice while pinching my cheek.
"fine if you must" I said. She lifted her hand to my chest and a circled around my cuts. I looked at her smooth pale face, she had faint freckles dotted around her nose and cheeks. Her rosy red lips, black eye lashes and perfect smile, Helen was beautiful. She reached to where my heart was and I placed my hand over hers, she frowned at me confused
"Aden?" she asked, I pulled her towards me so that are faces were inches apart.
"Thank you" I said simply, our lips met, it was like an angel had kissed me, oh yeah she was an angel! Helen's hand still rested on my heart but now it was softer, more relaxed. Our lips danced together in perfect timing. She gently broke away and smiled at me.
"never knew you had it in you" she said lying next to me,
"what do you mean?" I asked taking her hand
"first angel you've kissed, thought it was Athena"
"no she wanted me to but, no" I shook my head I disgust
"come on let's go"
"what?"
"to earth you need to leave"
"ok" we walked out the room hand in hand. The reception was empty and easy to escape.
"this way" said Helen pulling me into a small ally way. After ten minutes of walking we got to what looked like a train station.
"you sure this is the right place?" I asked
"can't you feel the energy?" I concentrated and felt a gush of warmth hit me, it was coming from inside the station. We walked inside and found a glowing blue ball of fire hovering above the platform.
"I guess that's it?" I asked
"yeah, go on" she pushed me forward
"your coming as well" I frowned
"no, I'm not" she said, a year rolled down her face and dropped to the floor
"what? I'm staying then"
"you can't!"
"why can't you come" I asked taking her hand
"Lucifer banned me, I have a trace on me they would know if I did, now go stupid! The hell hounds will be here soon" she kissed me and pushed me even closer to the ball of fire. I looked back but she just shook her head. All of a sudden there was a low snarl, I span around and saw a hideous dog/ monster thing standing in front of me. It moved closer to me and I ran to Helen to protect her
"go Aden! I'll fight them off, I love you don't forget me" I embraced her and kissed her briefly she smiled, but it vanish in a second. She waved me toward the fire. She sent a power toward the dog and I fell out the way wining. I jumped into the fire and waved to Helen as I stood in the surprisingly cold portal. What happened next broke my heart. Helen stood there waving, knowing there was a dog behind her, the growling beast jumped and took hold of Helen's neck, she fell to the floor as the beast ripped her skin. I screamed out to her and tried to get put but I was stuck in the floating fire. I felt my heart literally break in half. I fell to the floor, tears escaped my eyes, then a force under me lifted me into nothingness and I felt myself being thrown into the world above me, Earth.
