I started to try to contact some of my old friends. Only 5 I could get hold of though. My best friend Mari was going to come round at lunch time and help me organise my wedding! When she finally got to the coffee lshop we were meeting at I have her a huge hug I hadn't seen her for 5 years! I told her all about Sam and how I met. She was the only other person who knew about my powers. After our coffee we walked to an amazing wedding shop that we used to go to with our mothers and look at all the dresses. The lady behind the counter greeted us and showed us all the newly stocked dresses. They were all beautiful but there was one that caught my eye, it was pearly white and had a long train on the back ( not the vehicle) . Going up the front of the dress was tiny blue diamonds. It was perfect I walked over to it and checked the size it was my size! I called Mari over to look at it, "whoa that's lovely you would totally suit it!" she squealed excitedly "should I try it on?" just as I said that a tall pointy faced woman walked over and tapped me on the shoulder "umm hi" I said confused "that my dear is my wedding dress" "but your like 50 old-" Mari cut me off "well Resme got it before you so why don't you just go away" she pretended that she was shooing out a dog "oh I see I will do anything for that dress" she said with a annoyed ting in her voice "if you don't go away now I'll.... I'll do something!" argued Mari, I stood there shaking my head they were like two cats fighting, "look this is my dress now go and find another" I shouted, I checked that the woman behind the desk had gone, thankfully she had. I cracked my knuckles there was only one way to get my dress. I swung my arm and punched the lady in the face! She ran out the shops with a bleeding nose. That would teach her! Mari stared at me then laughed.
I strolled into the changing room and carefully tried on the dress. It fitted perfectly, I walked out the changing room like I was walking down the aisle, Mari gasped "oh my god you look amazing!" said Mari happily "it's perfect I need to buy it now!" I went and put my casual clothes on and took the dress to the counter, "how much is this lovely dress?" I asked the old lady behind the counter "£200 pound my dear, that's the finest dress in the shop" she said proudly, my heart sank in disappointment "I can't buy it i can only spend £150" I said feeling tears welling up. This was my dream wedding dress and I couldn't have it because of £50! "don't cry hunny" said Mari calmly "we can look somewhere else mabey that shop down the road?" Mari was so nice to me, I nodded sadly "umm wait, you can have it for £120 ok? As long as you don't go to the other shop, dirty scoundrels them!" she said slyly "oh thank you thank you thank you!!!" I screamed hugging her. We rushed out the shop waving to her. All we needed to now was organise everything else!
