The next day I asked mum if I could get the bus to school
"oh I don't know" she said frowning
"come one mum! I need to" I wined, I wanted to see Luke again
"why do you want the bus so badly I mean we do own a porsche!"
"I know but all my mates are on the bus" I said, a lie, none of my friends traveled on the bus they all walked
"Urgh fine, hurry up or you'll miss it" she said pointing out the window I saw the bus coming down the lane
"thanks mum" I said kissing her on the way out, I suddenly remembered my bag, I ran back into the house and picked it up. When I got back out I saw the bus had gone past the house
"shit" I said quietly. I started to run for the bus, I felt my speed building up in me and it wasn't long until the bus slowed down for me. I got on casually as I didn't break a sweat. I saw Luke sitting at the back with his body guards by him. I walked over to him
"oi red head" said Jake glaring at me
"if you haven't noticed, that's the only seat left. Oh sorry I forgot your so stupid you wouldn't of realised" he stood up as Jim did,
"aww gonna hit me? Go ahead" I said cocking my hip,
"I could take you any day" I said smugly knowing that I could with my strength
"pffft I like to see that" said Jim cracking his knuckles again.
"Jim, Jake sit down" said Luke,
"what? Think I'll hurt myself do you?" I said sternly
"these guys would pown you any day" said Luke sniggering at me
"wanna bet?" I said pushing it now
"ok, today lunch by the forests"
"bring it on" I said shaking hands with Luke, his pale skin was soft against mine. I walked to the front of the bus and stood there waiting for the school to appear. When it finally did I ran off excited to tell everyone about my fight with Jim and Jake!
"you what!?" exclaimed Helen
"I think it's a good thing" shrugged Ash, Aden nodded in agreement
"you'll get yourself killed!" said Jenny staring at me shocked
"thanks for the support" I said smiling. They did have a point if I were a normal person then I would probably die. I wasn't exactly muscly, I was a small and well small! I was very acrobatic but people wouldn't think that I had super strength!
The day pasted until it got to lunch. I strutted out the classroom, everyone knew about the fight now word spreads quickly! I walked up to the forest a group of people behind me. There was a huge circle of people chatting and laughing
"everyone has betted now yes?" called out a voice from George Paps, most of the people in the crowd nodded, I didn't actually know they were betting!
"and here's are other team, Harmony Rae!" I smiled as I walked into the circle, Jim and Jack were sitting down in front of Luke they smirked at me as I entered and dropped my bag on the floor. They stood up and Luke backed into the crowd. I pulled off my hoodie and held up my knuckles. They did the same,
"I want a nice clean fight!" said George, I sniggered, yeah right!
"ok let the fight start!" he shouted people started to shout names of the people they betted on. We circled each other for awhile until they made there move, they both went for my face but I quickly ducked down and sprang up behind them, I pushed Jim forward and he fell over but quickly got up. Jack went to punch me again by I dodged out the way I didn't see Jim's knuckle he punched me hard in the mouth and I could taste blood. I swung around kicking him in the stomach he fell to the floor wincing, I felt a jolt of pain running down my side from Jack. I winced but turned around and punched him in the nose, a gush of blood ran down his face, I checked on Jim quickly, still down, one to go. Jack's leg swung up and I rolled onto the floor missing it. I ran towards him and grasped his shoulders, I felt my blood rush to my head as I flipped over him do I was behind him. People gasped in the crowd and I laughed. Jack turned around looking angry, he went to punch the side of my face and I jumped out the way, I felt a bloody hand hit my mouth, I felt a sudden rush of heat in my head I tasted Jacks blood, it was bitter but nice. I gasped as I felt my hunting instincts take place. I blocked them out forcefully as I dodged another blow. I lifted my leg in the air and kicked Jack in the face he fe on the floor. The crowd cheered
"and Harmony Rae wins!" I heard George's voice shout I went and picked up my bag and hoodie while people cheered and patted me on the back. I wiped off the blood of my face as I walked to my maths class.
