Urgh I'm defiantly gonna get rid of this stupid clock, I stumbled down stairs to see a note on the kitchen table,
"kalimara! gone out shopping cornflakes in cupboard xxx"
Mama went shopping at 5am? Gezz she must be high or something.... I poured out some cornflakes but didn't put milk on them, they tasted much nicer without milk! I got ready for school, it was a surprisingly sunny day so I decided that I could wear some of my clothes from Greece. I put on some very short denim shorts, and a vest/ t-shirt. I pulled on a turquoise ankle bracelet and some earrings. I hoped that the school didn't mind my wrists, in Greece I always had henna on my wrists, a sun symbol on one wrist and on the other a moon and star that symbolised day and night! I put on my lucky necklace, a Greek eye, not an actual eye, a glass blue eye that soaks up all the harsh feelings.
-6:50-
I went and waited outside for the school bus, on the way out I looked through the post, there was a letter for me! It read
"To Lola,
I hope that you are having a good time in England, we all miss you and your Mother. I'm really sorry to have to tell you this in a letter, but we can't be together anymore, your to far away! And I would never see you, you have been an amazing girlfriend, hopefully see you soon
Nick x"
My heart sank as I read the letter again, I was being dumped over a letter! The school bus beeped and I hurried on to the back again, I read the letter one last time and felt a fat tear rolling down my face, I scrunched up the letter and threw it to the chair in front of me. I burst into silent tears and held my head in my hands,
"hey are you ok?" asked a girl who's voice I recognised, Joy,
"no" I said shaking my head
"is this your letter, it hit me" she said handing me the letter
"read it keep it if you want" I said wiping away my tears, I watched her scanning the letter
"oh, I'm sorry that's pretty harsh I must say" she said sitting next to me
"hmm, oh well"
"don't worry, by the way you look amazing! Any guy would love you in those shorts" she said looking at me
"thanks, you look nice" I said she did though, she had a nice mini skirt on and a patterned t-shirt
"I know this sounds kinda lezzie but you have amazing legs! Run in the family or do you work out?" I laughed
"family"
"oh lucky lucky you!" I laughed as we got off the school bus. All the guys stared at us both, not being big headed but mostly me,
"hey! Hey wait up" called Maddy, Molly and Shaun
"hi" Joy said
"whoa Lola you look amazing!" said Maddy, Molly looked at me approvingly
"hmm you do" Molly eventually said, Shaun just looked at me, Molly hit him in the arm and he woke up from his dreamy stare. I left them to talk about the prom again and walked to tutor. As I was early Miss said I could listen to music at my desk. There was a knock on the door,
"come in!" said Miss annoyed from the disruption
"I'm new here Miss" said a soothing voice, I looked up and saw him, him the angel from my dreams,
"ohh you must be Luther Night, take a seat" she said smiling at him, he was just like in my dream, his golden hair pulled back into a short ponytail, his gleaming white skin, his green eyes met my gaze so I looked away quickly. He was wearing a beaded necklace, a light blue t-shirt and baggy jeans, not like a chav though!
"hi" he said as he sat next to me, oh no!
"yasoo" I blurted out
"you speak Greek?" he asked
"I'm from Greece, it's slightly obvious" I said holding out my tanned arms, he laughed and nodded
"where are you from?" I asked, he paused and frowned
"oh I travel...."
"so where are you at the moment?"
"here"
"at school?" I asked seriously, he laughed as if it was a joke
"no, I just live places no where special"
"neigh I know what you mean"
"neigh?"
"yes"
"oh ok..." he said looking thoughtfully. The bell rang loudly and all the students came rushing into the class. They all slowed down as they got to there seats. I couldn't see Maddy so I guessed she was taking tutor off,
"now class, today we have another new student, Luther" Miss said pointing toward Luther and me, the whole class turned around to look at him sitting new to me, I looked at the boys they looked at his muscly arms and chest, the girls just gawped at him, I guess he was kinda cute for a teenager
"I will let you all talk today, enjoy yourself" said miss smiling strangely cheerful. The whole class rushed over to Luther
"whoa! Dude do you work out" asked an other muscly guy
"I surf a lot" said Luther smiling
"cool, wanna hang with us today?" another guy asked, I frowned, what was so good about Luther? I mean he's just a guy
"hey Luther, what a lovely name" said a fake looking girl who batted her eye lashes, he smiled and all the girls giggled at him. I got up and walked to Miss who was ticking work at her desk
"yes Lola?" she asked looking up
"umm can I go to my next lesson Miss?" I asked wanting to get away from the crowd of people
"yes, of course." she said smiling at me. I went to my locker to get my books for maths, some one breathed down my neck
"what's wrong?" Luther asked
"I am going to math-ma-ics" I said stumbling and frowning
"maths?" I nodded embarrassed
"what lesson do you have?" I said looking at his timetable
"dunno" he said shrugging
"same time table as me, I guess I'll see you around" I said walking away waving
"wait! I have no idea where I'm going though" he panted as he caught up with me
"oh umm Jonny's over there" I said pointing to a tall guy
"your shooing me away?" he asked smiling
"yep!" I said walking off
"bye then!" he said walking over to Jonny. I thought he should probably make some friends that were guys in stead of me, and he probably didn't want to be seen with the hopeless Greek girl!
