The next day, I finished off one of my paintings, that was my job, I was an artist, I loved it because I could go to work and finished anytime I liked!
-5:00- Time to get dressed for my date! I rushed up stairs and searched for an outfit not to scruffy but not posh. I eventually picked out some red/purple skinny jeans, a pale white vest with a skull on in made out of flowers and a airy jumper that was the same colour of my jeans which went well with my top, and of course my red converse! I put some mascara on, I never wore makeup around Josh but I had to look nice I guess?... -5:45- I got into my red mini and set off to the restaurant I was meeting Josh. It was called 'the olive shed' my Dad used to own it but he gave it up when we moved, it hadn't changed at all. I sat down at a table on a balcony, Simon one of the workers came over to my table, "what brings you here Daisy?" he said hugging me "I'm on a blind date!" "oh lucky you! Have a great time, say hi to your folks for me" "I will" He walked away into the kitchen... -6:10- Josh was late? Maybe he got lost or even worse he might not show up.... I thought about it for awhile but remembered Josh was normally half an hour late for most things. I texted Ria, 'hi! Josh isn't here yet, has he left Urs? Xxx' I sent and started to get even more bored than I already was, my phone beeped 'aww he's probably just late! Hope every thing goes well!!' Typical Ria, always look on the bright side of life! He was nearly a hour late now, I gathered my bag up and got ready to leave, someone tapped me on my shoulder, Josh, "so your my date?" he said smiling at me "not anymore! Your late" "hmm sorry about that I was getting these" he pulled a bunch of roses from behind his back, I smiled, "thank you!" "that's ok, you hungry?" "yes! Your a hour late!" We sat back down and ordered our food, it was lovely! "Daisy, I must say your looking nice for your standards" he said teasingly "I wish I could say the same about you!" To be honest he looked amazing but I couldn't say that in front of him!
After we finished and payed the bill we walked out of the restaurant, I waved goodbye to Simon he smiled and winked at me. We walked out to the harbour and sat on the stairs, it was the perfect moment the moon was reflected on the water and all the stars looked like tiny lights against the dark sky. I shivered as a cold breeze went through the air, Josh put his arm on my shoulder I looked at him "seriously cheesy!" I said laughing "hmm well maybe I should stop?" "no! It's nice" I smiled up at him and shuffled closer so that our body's where touching "I've meant to tell you this awhile ago but I've never had the guts.... Daisy I've loved you I dunno for about a year" he looked down at his feet, I could only stare at his perfect face, oh my gosh! He loved me! Pull your self together Daisy stay cool, "good because I love you" "oh I know, I've known for awhile now" "what? How?" "it's very obvious!" "but I-" I was cut off by Josh's lips meeting mine..... Well our date went well!
