Part 1 *•*•*•*•*
I roll over lazy hitting my hand against my small red alarm clock that's beeping loudly at me. I finally manage to turn it off and look at the time, five to seven. God I'm up early. I rub my eyes and start to see little black dots so I stop and blink. After a few minutes of embracing the warmth of my bed I swing my legs over the side and stand up. I pull on a badly fitting blue hoodie, it goes down to my knees. I stumble out of my red walled room and into the blue kitchen. "Morning." I grumble sleepily to my flat mate Ellie, she smiles at me while I make myself a cup of hot chocolate, "What's so great this morning?" I groan, "Duh!! It's the first day of college, and guess what?" Shit I forgot about that huge chunk of my life. "What?" I smile a bit more cheerily? "I passed my driving test! Just got the papers back in the post, you've got a letter too." I smile broadly at her and give her a brief hug, "Well done, that's great news! I'll text you later for lunch?" I say picking up my letter from the coffee stained table, "Yeah sure, have a good first day!" Ellie calls from the front door of our apartment, "Yeah you to. See you later!" I call back as she slings her bag around her chest and runs out to the door. Luckily for Ellie she's had a car in the garage for years, now she can use it instead of stare at it longingly! I'm kidding I love her really. We've know each other for most of our lives, we're best friends. I pick up my phone an check my messages, '10 new messages.' Great. I flick through all the ticket offers and all the messages your really don't want to read and finally stop on one from someone that used to be a big part of my life. Josh. The message read, 'Hey Daisy, I'm sorry if I upset you. I hate how it all ended, I'm in Bristol soon. How about lunch? Love you, Josh x'
I swallow my breath and sigh holding my head in my hands, me and Josh ended on an.. Angry note. I guess I should probably reply, 'Josh. I'm sorry but I told you I never want to see you again. Please don't say you love me, That's what you said last time, turned out to be a joke. Daisy.' Too harsh? No. He deserves it after what he did to me. Slept with my ex-best friend Rose. Bastard. I smile a little and walk into the bathroom to get dressed. Right Daisy, first day of college. Need to make a good image, easy! I pull on my best skinny jeans they're black denim with rips in them, a dark blue Hollister top, and my favourite black boots. There quite old but they've lasted me well, they're leather ankle boots that go up just above my ankle, they're lace up but have a zip up the side of them and the best part is the little silver studs around the bottom of them, amazing! I brush my hair through then straighten it, put all my earrings in, I have a double piercing and one at the top of my ear, it's fake though its just a cuff. I put my mascara on making my eyelashes black and long, some foundation, smooth brown eyeliner and a tiny bit of lipgloss. I hurry into my room, Twenty minutes until I need to leave. I snatch up my brown leather satchel with black buckles and pack all my stuff. Three minutes until I need to leave! I pop my Dr Dre's on and head out the door locking it on the way out. I run to one of the best cars ever, lipstick red mini. Birthday present! I jump in and drive away quickly.
College is only ten minutes away. It's now five to nine. Five minutes to spare, pretty good. Ok so you might want to know about what I do. So I'm at college doing a photography course. I can class myself as a pretty good picture taker! I park up and walk through the college gates, it's really nice here for a college! I'm gonna be happy. I walk inside and check a glass map on the wall on where my class is. I sigh frustrated and run my shaky finger along the little painted corridors until someone behind me clears their throat, "Give me a sec dude." I snap suddenly. They laugh. Seriously! "Your lost?" Laughs a velvet smooth voice, I turn around and glare at the guy behind me. "Look I'm new here. Give me a break." I sigh, they smile and shake their head, "I'm new to. I was just seeing if you needed a little help?" I shut my eyes and sigh annoyed at myself, "Yes please." I say in a small voice, I open my eyes and look the guy up and down. Heh. Pretty good looking actually. He has sandy blonde hair which is styled almost perfectly, there's a strand out of place! Amazingly aqua eyes which are kind of mesmerising.... Pink archer's bow shaped lips and a perfectly structured body. Ooh and tanned skin! "What class are you looking for?" He asks, I suddenly realise that he has a strong South African accent, "I have no idea... Photography course is all I know.." I say hopelessly, "Oh cool, same as me. Come on I'll walk you there." He smiles showing a perfect set of white teeth. I smile back and hold out my hand, bracelets hang down from my wrists, my favourite is a silver snake chain with charms on from Pandora! "I'm Daisy Chambers by the way. Hi." I say, he takes my warm hand in his and shakes hands, "I'm Caspar Sparks. Hi." "Caspar the friendly ghost!" I exclaim happily. He smiles showing two little dimples, maybe I've got a new friend? He leads me down the long corridor to a doorway, "One sec..." I say stopping him from going into the classroom, I flatten down the little spike of hair and pause blushing, "umm... That wasn't flirting it was annoying me." I apologise. He laughs loudly and smiles at me, "I don't mind, thanks." We knock on the door and walk into class, most of the seats are taken up except two at the back which are next together, "Good morning! Glad you could join us, I'm Miss Rose. Please take your seats." Miss smiles behind her desk. I smile back at walk to my seat with Caspar behind me. I slouch into my chair and pull out my pencil case which is completely covered in names from my secondary school. I'm the middle is, 'ELLIE + DAISY!' Written in red marker pen, next to that is a heart with Josh's name which is scribbled out. "Cool pencil case." Smiles Caspar leaning back in his chair. Miss Rose starts to talk and I find well... Everything interesting!
The school bell rings loudly indicating that it's the end of the first college day. "See you tomorrow class! Please pick up a timetable on your way out." She smiles as we walk out of class. I pick up a yellow sheet of paper and stuff it into my bag. I pull out my Nokia Lumia phone and call Ellie, "Hi." Says Ellie's voice through the phone, I look next to me and jump when I notice that Caspar's still there. "Hey, where should we meet?" I ask pushing Caspar in the arm smiling, "Umm... There's a cafe half way between us called 'The Blue Moon' how about lunch there?" Suggests Ellie, Caspar's now making faces at me and I'm struggling to hold in a laugh, "Sure, see you there! Bye" I choke pressing the end call button just as I burst out laughing, "So where we going?" Asks Caspar excited,I rise my eyebrows. "I'M going for lunch with my best friend. See you tomorrow in class." I smile starting to walk away, Caspar takes a simple step in front of me stopping me in my tracks. "Can I come?" He asks winking childishly. I smile at him and nod turning him around and pushing him to walk. We get to my mini and Caspar sniggers quietly behind me, "What?" I ask, "Is that your car?" "Yeah. No dissin' it's a great car. Get in." I smile patting the velvet roof.
In my pocket my beeped loudly so I picked it up, "Hello? Ellie where are you?" I ask, "Just.. Just getting petrol." She stammers back, "uh I'm." "Are you ok? You seem... Bothered." I inturupted. "Yeah I'm-I'm fine. Just getting petrol. I'll be a bit late." She replies, "Ok. See you there then. Bye!"
We drove for fifteen minutes until we finally found the little blue painted cafe. We parked up so that we were by the door. I got out and immediately spotted Ellie sitting by the window. Ellie has brownish blonde hair which is tied back in a ponytail, she's quite tall but I'm not far behind! Hazel eyes with long, black lashes. Me, well I have long chestnut hair, blue eyes. I'm quite tall but most people are my height at 17. "Come on then slow coach!" I laugh at Caspar who's struggling to get out the car, I walk round to his side and help him out smiling. I lock the car and we walk into the cafe. Ellie stands up when she see's me and frowns when she see's the model looking guy behind me. She seems worried, I guess it was just first day nerves and all. "Hey." I say when I get to her, "Hi...." She says looking at Caspar, "Hi! I'm Casper the friendly ghost according to Daisy!" Smiles Caspar shaking Ellie's hand. Ellie messes with her hair and bites her lip, great she's flirting. "Heh, she is funny!" Laughs Ellie, "Yeah... So how was the first day?" I ask sitting down with Caspar. Ellie sits down quickly and shakes her head. "It was great! I met this girl called Yasmin who's nice. How about you?" "Yeah it's amazing, really happy about it all. Yeah I didn't really meet anyone interesting though" I smirk elbowing Caspar, "What? I'm very interesting." Laughs Caspar, "Oh yeah. I met Caspar Sparks." I smile, "Aww nice. You ready!?" Smiles Ellie excitedly. I frown and suddenly remember our outing... A burst of excitement bursts in me, "OH MY GOD! I FORGOT!" I shout happily- over excited. Next to me Caspar jumps and stumbles off his chair. He gets back up slowly and sits back down. "Hehe, we need to go like now though!" Smiles Ellie. "Oh ok. Can Caspar come?" I ask putting a puppy dog face on, next to me Caspar does to and hugs my side friendlily. "Sure! Lets go, follow my car ok?" "Ok Mum." I laugh. I'm kinda disappointed when Caspar lets go of me.
We all get in the cars and drive off to Frome. To pick up our two puppies, Magic and Jess!!
