~ Part 2 ~ ^*^*^*^*^*^
All last night I couldn't help thinking of Edward Smith. As I got ready for my new school I kept moaning to myself. The new navy uniform was itchy, Dad is getting quite depressed and I haven't seen Edward since last night! I walked down the stairs in my scratchy skirt and cotton top to find Dad by the cooker. I mouth-watering smell reached me, "What ya making?" I asked sitting on the table and swinging my legs freely, "Your breakfast" "Which is?" "Sausage, bacon, tomato, eggs, toast and hash browns!" he smiled and placed a huge plate of food on the table. I sat down and started to eat. After I had finished I packed my brown leather satchel, said goodbye to Dad and walked out the door to my school which was only around the corner. I have to admit that I wasn't looking forward to school, the walk wasn't great either. All around me was large factories that produced loads of smoke that was making the air around me smell odd. "JANIE!!!" Shouted a smooth velvety voice, I turned around and saw Edward running down the street towards me, his leather satchel jumping against his leg. "Oh hi" I said trying to act all cool, "Thought we could walk to school together?" he smiled at me and walked beside me, "Yeah, if course, don't know where to go anyway!" "Good thing I do then" "Yep! So do you think we will be I the same class?" "Dunno what side of the school are you on? A or B" "B I think" "Oh same, we might be in the same classes then.." I smiled hoping that he would be in my classes. We walked and chatted until we got to the large school gates. The first impression of the school was grey. The paintwork had all turned grey and slightly damp, there was hardly any windows. It looked like a prison or something that didn't want to give away any pleasure. Edward had ran off to his other friends and left me to find some of my own. I walked up to the doors and waited outside for the bell to ring signaling us to go inside. A tall blonde girl came over to me, her hair trailed to her waist and was perfectly straight. Her blue eyes looked like diamonds in the light. I could see that she was one of the rich girls. "Your Janie, the new girl right?" she said cocking her hip, "Yes" I mumbled "I'm Eloise Morrison. Nice to meet you" she held out her hand and I shook it thankful that she seemed to be kind, "What side?" "Umm B" "Oh same as me. B is defiantly the best side." I laughed quietly and look over to Edward and his friend who seemed to be watching me, "I see you've met Edward Smith?" Asked Eloise raising her eyebrows, "Yeah he's my neighbor" "Lucky you. He's one of the cuter ones of the school" "Heh yeah I guess.." A loud bell started to ring telling us to make our way to lessons. Eloise said we had the same lessons so I decided to follow her around for the day, "Come on let's get going to English" Eloise said leasing me inside. English my favorite lesson! "Ok" I felt a soft finger tap me on the shoulder, "Good luck, see you around" said the voice of Edward. I smiled up at him and he winked back at me!! Made my day already!
