I pledge my life to the skull and bones On the flag above our bloody thrones. There is no light to muffle my ways, Because I lurk in the night and drift past the days.

When the moon does glow, it's a lovely fright, As my skin sheds away and my bones come to sight. A ship crew made of skeletal ghosts, On a constant search for the gold we love most.

Gliding silently through the pitch black sea, We desire the treasure, but our curse is key. Through the days we appear a simple myth, Hats and eyepatches until the sun sets adrift.

But I am not like the rest of the ghouls, I believe my journey has yet to unfold. So I set apart, guided by the moon, My secluded ways, I'll not be back soon.

But though I'm alone, my curse does not leave, And you may believe whatever you want to believe. I still mummify in the dead of the night, A true, skeleton pirate; no dust for me to bite.

Inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean, because I love those movies. And Johnny Depp.
