Poem ~ Your time's been ended all too soon
Your time's been ended all too soon now you have gone away In peace at last with yourself But in our hearts you'll stay
Life can be so very cruel for reasons never to be known Contemplation at deaths door a decision made on your own
You leave a trail of saddened lives of the people all around you But Eggy you've had the last laugh - because we can no longer ground you
So this our departing words to tell you what we think A son, dad, brother and friend We raise a glass of life - not drink
