Sitting in the airport
Waiting for my flight
The nerves are kicking in now
I'm scared I'll get a fright

I've said my goodbyes
I'm really going to miss her
But my friends are waiting for me
And her face becomes a blur

The planes just taken off
I hope the flights not bumpy
Can't wait to eat the plane food
If its rank I will be grumpy

The captains just announced
New Jersey is insight
It's time to brace for landing
You should see my delight

Standing at the airport
Waiting at the border
I wonder if they'll let me through
If not I'll have to call her

My friends are waving banners
I'm finally here at last
My travels have now ended
I've left home in the past
