Sometimes I wonder if people even want to look for new information anymore. Or even sit back and examine old information. Information that matters now, and will tomorrow. Timeless information, not the banal activities of celebrities you shouldn't care about to begin with, and moronic relationships of people I couldn't care about if I tried. People are far too complacent with far too little knowledge, thinking that just a basic understanding of reality is sufficient to live a happy life. It may be for them, but I don't think it ever will for me. And I don't think it ever should be. I want someday to look back on my life and think to myself I spent it well, in the pursuit of information, the exercise of knowledge, and the use of wisdom to increase the quality of my own life, the lives of my future children, and hopefully even the people around me.
