Your apathy is my apathy we both should feel ashamed, Not on a whim we act our lives, But to practices ingrained.
The alarm clock rings I press the snooze I'll get five minutes more. Another Monday starts my week, oh what a saddening bore.
I'm middle of the road, don't rock my boat, I'll stay straddled on my fence, don't chance the risk don't risk the chance, stay safe that's my defence!
Same Tuesday , same day tomorrow, that's what life is all about, Don't be a fool, don't be so rash, Don't be the odd one out
My circles safe, I'm running down the same old trodden path. "Today's Wednesday and that's the night I have my weekly bath"
Thursdays up at six, bed at ten and don't get in my way, God forbid any unplanned change to my normal working day.
Happy Fridays here again To end my working week I'll do something different tonight, I'll try to be unique!
Weekends here, my programming says I must go out and cut the lawn Do I have a choice, no I don't, I was hard wired when I was born.
The mould is set the die is cast, next week will be the same, My apathy is your apathy we both should feel the shame.
