The shards of glass fell in slow motion around me. Half dazed by this strange image, I didn't notice the ground getting closer. I closed my eyes. Shocked I opened them. Now standing upright I realized I had made a perfect landing. Without stopping to even start to wonder about how I did that I ran. My heart was already pounding from the jump, but running seemed easy enough. The Tarmac was sore on my bare feet. I reached the end of what seemed a compound. A huge wall with barbed wire loomed over me. Impossible to climb I ran along the wall hoping to find an exit. Instead I found a neat pile of clothing. I stared down, surprised to them. A note was written. I shoved on the clothes. Now I felt better, more natural. Suddenly I heard guards coming towards me. I turned my head. 100 meters away I looked up at the wall. Maybe it was possible. My eyes darted up the wall. A quick glance over my shoulder; 50 meters. I leaped up. My arms locked in place, pulling me up. The guards were at the bottom, all guns pointed at me. A shout came from near the building, 'fools, you can't killer her!' One more push, I looked over my shoulder, confused face peered up at me as I swung over the top. I jumped down the other side. Another perfect landing. Bizarre. But I knew to keep running. I didn't even look back. Running became second nature as I tried to remember, who I was. It hurt my head. I wasn't sad, but just confused to the fact I knew so little but could do so much.

I don't know how long I'd been running, but I was in a wood and it was getting dark. I slowed to a walk. I listened. I could hear the leaves rustling in the summer wind. A few birds in the trees. A trickling stream. I was aware of the dryness of my mouth. I zoned in to the direction of the sound and followed. In a few minuets I had reached a little stream. I guzzled down water, getting as much as I could down my throat. Satisfied, I noticed the dried blood over me. Slightly shock, I whipped off my t-shirted washing away the blood. Shoving the disgusting wet t-shirt on I followed the stream. It was dark by the time I reached the village. But the buildings glowed with light. Exhausted I need a place to sleep. A temple? Part of me felt shock to find one. But I didn't know where I was. I walked up the steps trying to remember how I knew a temple was safe. With shaking hands I rang the bell.
