I believe in the freedom of the press. Have just read about a bad case of abuse, Yet I cannot take the position of judge and jury. Today, made me think a little deeper Reporting the happening in the world This is the correct thing to do Todays world greatly needed we have seen Let down by those with our trust Abusing their power to their own ends We need the press to keep us informed
But please don't crucify the person Before going to trial, and before the trial. This influence can rock the dock Give it all, you've got after the verdict If, or when, that person is found guilty Then that person deserves to have his/her Open book of life opened up. I'd say to the press "Job well Done".
If all is told before the trial It will stay in the minds of the jury Human prejudice will get in the way An example of this in bad story today: We are told this bad person lives in a million pound house In the poshest area, wines and dines with footballers and film stars Has a life many would die for So it springs to mind 'Jealousy' or am I mistaken. Abuse of 'Children and Rape', must be the worst crime anyone can be accused of. YET - Leave this to the Jury to decide after hearing the evidence My message to the guilty is : "If you have Done the Crime You Serve Time"
