I've just spent my time writing a letter the 'Hacked Off', but have not yet sent it!
My letter is to the real victims of hacked in 'Hacked Off' Madeleine's parents Kate and Gary McCann and Millie, Bob and Sally Dowler. The battles they have had to endure have been long and hard, but wIthout media support your battles would have been much harder.
I wanted to explain to them that the public in general would suffer if the press were to be gagged, because, we would no longer be able to know about all of the corruption that exists in the modern world today.. You only have have to look at the corruption that has been uncovered during the last two years.
Today a letter is copied in the newspaper of the letter sent to the Leverston Enquiry to regulate the press, signed by twenty people.but it contains information that 1700 people are pushing for this legislation. The question needs to be asked how many of this number of people are in public office
Hugh Grant adds no credibility to this complaint as nobody loves the attention of the media more than him, he's trying to keep political parties now with threats, and we all know money talks.
I believe that a large number of your group hacked off, are in public office, if you take a job on high salaries in publics office you have to be constantly under public scrutiny. We need to know that these people we appoint in public office are doing the job they paid for doing,
So I asking those with genuine complaints to please take a look around their members, and decide for themselves.
Do they have their own agenda?
I'm asking you feel the answer is 'Yes', these people do exist within your group expel them and carry on your effort group to put your matters right.
I'v ended this letter wishing them the " Best of Luck in your fight" You all have so many faithful followers, all hoping and wishing someday you will find Peace....
