She's only tiny, can hardly be seen Yet some people can be so mean
In the local market the other day The market inspector she's not pleased Declared with a growl, leave if you please Dogs not allowed
While she rushed off clipboard in her hand I was taken back to understand Her attitude upset me so much She didn't bother realise how much
I rushed after her as quick as I could Asked for an explanation of why! I cannot walk my little dog in a market place She curtly replied Guide dogs only allowed
She is my Guide dog I replied For a moment, you good tell See stopped to think for a little spell My explanation was required again
I'm deaf you see although you cannot tell My guide dog alerts me and on a short lead she guides me She's seems proud to be my guide dog Head held high and pushing through crowds
But if I have to leave her outside shops She barks the place down She must think I'm lost Now it seems I have to get a sticker That reads 'Guide Dog'
Maybe, a sticker Would work to for me Where should I put it for everyone to see what would it say? I'm deaf, this is "My Guild Dog"
Mitzee is her name she really makes me smile
