The Liverpool Care Pathway Daily Mail 27th October 2012 Two newspaper issues today that made me think about my own opinion on the subject
The Liverpool Care Pathway - A disgrace to modern day society
The story about the LCP has been published in the Daily Mail identifying some shocking stories about this modern day pathway to death. It identifies shocking accounts of what amounts torture
A senior opinion about making death pain free, it's the last part of the story that concerns me.
It seemed the opinion could not agree to give pain drugs than at least let people have the choice to die.
This section seems to bringing out the euthanasia extremist group pressure. This is a way in that should never be allowed
The LCP is already operating euthanasia the pressure group for this should look at these cases and think again.
Can you even imagine what a horrible death they must administer at this hospital of death. To die of hunger and thirst and no basic medication. My God what a way to go, add being alone to that as well. You would not put an animal down like that. When you hear of the NHS receiving donations for placing patients on the Liverpool Care Pathway, is against humanity, you would not let an animal die without food and water and medication that they need to keep of the pain.
