Know It All

Lover, I know you keep my heart,
Locked safe inside your chest,
I know you love it as your own,
But what about the rest?
Like do you know what moves me?
What fascinates and soothes me?
Do you know my inner peace
My inner walk of pride
Does it make you wonder
What depths I've left inside?
Don't you know my passions?
My whims, my arts, my fashions?
Don't you know the words I write?
And don't you know my dreams?
Don't you know my every glance
My every touch and sigh?
Have you ever wondered
What lies behind my eyes?
I know your eyes a thousand ways
Their every fleck and speck of grey
Their soft blush of golden hues
That rests amidst the greeny blues
Do you know the colour brown?
That is unique to mine?
Could you even pick them out
Without being given a sign?
Do you know how I feel
When you act like that?
The sinking disappointment
In the intelligence I lack
The loneliness that comes from
Not being good enough
Do you know that?
Can you tell?
Do you just choose not to act?
My body you know very well,
My every crest and every swell,
But not my mind and its enthralls
My lovely, wonderfully complete all
You keep my heart, that's what it's for
I only wish you knew me more.

Young Lady

I know a young lady. With a double barrel name. Pretty little thing. Playing at love's game. Seems from what I know. She's destined to lose. For the man she wanted. Won't walk within her shoes.

Say it then; While the moon Licks the floor Special with silvers We can dance On fragrant floorboards, Feet synchronised In a way our hearts Never were. Please say it; You're lying beside.

Now That You're Gone

Funny how we don't want things Until they're gone, We think we can do without a little rag Until it's thrown away. Not that you're a rag, How rude of me.

Falling For You

Falling, falling without a care, let my wings of thought reach everywhere. Let there be no feeling when I fall, as I crash through your world that means nothing at all.

Will's Poem

Glass shattered, broken pieces shine in the sun. Your mask has come undone. A shooting star giving off so much light, why'd you try so hard to fight. Was there a reason you couldn't love.
