The night is a disease,
It's inky black fingers caging everything in sight,
Immersing the world in it's murky depths.
Not a star to be seen,
Only black rules the earth,
Until the early morning hours,
When the pale sun rescues us from our endless pit of darkness.
The night has to flee,
Hiding from sight,
Until the evening comes around,
And the animals of the dark slink from the shadows.
Prowling the streets,
Hungry for danger,
Hungry for blackness.
And the night invades,
Consuming all,
Invading our minds,
Poisoning our thoughts.
Banish the darkness,
Vanquish the black,
But it will always come,
The night time,
Always and forever.

Slow down, you go too fast. You've got to make the moment last. I live in Scotland and I love books, writing, noodles, swimming and music. I've just turned 12 and I've suddenly realised that I've only got about 6 more years left at home. Time flies. So treasure each moment - don't let any opportunities pass you by. #projecthumanity
