Blue skies, bright white clouds,
Rows of luscious corn,
Thatched roofs and brown cows,
Lashing midnight storm,
Acoustic music,
Country folk,
Pitchforks, scarecrows,
Cowboy joke,
Chickens, pigs and fresh grass smell,
Hay stacks, tractors, running well,
Hey y'all,
All y'all,
Rodeo,
Y'all turn up the stereo,
Courtin', fella's, lassie's too,
Arm in arm,
Them country blues,
I don't know how you portray,
The country in the modern day,
The rolling fields of endless grass,
Timeless, pure to always last,
What I see is just a country,
Country full of writer's thoughts.
