Darkness on the ceiling,
Spilling on the floor,
Pouring through the windows,
And dripping down the door,
Darkness on the table,
Running down the knife,
Seeping through my every thought,
Cascading down my life,
Darkness on the painting,
Streaming down the wall,
Working through the clockwork hands,
A masterpiece to fall,
Darkness in the bloodstream,
Filtering the veins,
Pumping from the tainted heart,
And written in the names.
