I've been to many places,

I've seen endless fields and hills,

I've seen snow topped lands from way up high,

Heard many birdsong trills,

I've seen animals from overseas,

A snail, 8-inch tall,

I've been sledding with the huskies,

And I feel I've seen it all,

I speak Spanish, French and English,

And a little German too,

I've been in and out this country,

And I've also been straight through,

I've met many famous figures,

And been part of many works,

I've seen London nights and country days,

And found the travel 'perks',

I've met murderers and burglars,

Been trapped inside a car,

But no matter where I travel to,

My home's where my roots are.
