This is for those who have just joined Opuss and might need a little 'phrasebook'.
Opuss | The best app on the app store/a piece of writing published on the Opuss app.
Opussia | The fantasy kingdom where all Opussians dwell.
Opussian | A person using the Opuss app.
#household #emotion #100days etc. | Hashtag challenges where users are set a theme/task and have to write a piece on it, tagging the Opuss with the given tag.
Rank | An algorithm to calculate your participation, variety and popularity on Opuss to show how you compare against other writers. There are mixed feelings about the Rank system.
Top Of The Day/Week/Month/Year | A system listing the most liked pieces on Opuss, it is reset every day/week/month/year at 01:00am.
Top Author Pick/Featured Authors | Specific Opussians chosen through SeaMonster to be featured because of their work quality, frequent use of the app, unique personality etc.
Plagiarism | Not a specific Opuss term, but posting another person's work without giving them credit is plagiarism and is not allowed on Opuss.
Follow | Pretty self explanatory, just follow another Opussian whose work you like and their pieces will appear in your Feed.
