Life is a game of sticks and stones, Where a single throw can break your bones, And life is a game of fall or fly, With the simple aim being do or die.
But, life is a game of words, as well, Like a chessboard, all of your moves can tell, They can show a king double as a pawn, To another player, used and worn.
While life is a plot that's to be told, Like a paper sky, only to unfold, An origami art of skill, To reach the top, you must climb the hill.
As life is a game of strength and will, It remains a game won by tact and skill, Of sticks and stones, with the wit of tongue, Only when you speak, have you really won.
