Calling all Opussians. I am calling out to each and every one of you, on your iPad, your iPhone, your iPod Touch. I need your help. I have an idea. My idea could be a success or it could fizzle out without anyone even taking any notice of it. I am sick. Very, very sick. And I am sure that you are all sick, too. I will give it to you straightforward, my idea is called Project Humanity. Our world is rapidly becoming overrun by technology, stereotyping and discrimination. The majority of the population are narrow minded, self absorbed, materialistic and painfully uneducated in any sense of morality or ethicality whatsoever. You can see it in the way people treat strangers, the way the media portrays celebrities, events and even the public, the common desire to believe the worst in every situation and just the way that everyone seems to handle their day to day life. I am talking mainly about the majority of the Millennials (Generation Y) and the iGeneration (Generation Z). I am certain that you all feel it, too, even if it's just every now and then, you have all felt it at least once. The reason I have decided to give Project Humanity a go is because I have ESP (Extra Sensory Perception/Sixth Sense). Flat out, I can practically feel the state of the world that we live in and it's not pretty. It's certainly not getting any better, either. My first thought was, of course, to go to Opuss, as I know you all have experiences, deep emotions and, of course, your own voice. The level of maturity on here, as well, has astounded me, especially from the younger Opussians. I have seen many, many pieces on Opuss about this topic and know that many of you feel the exact same way as I do. Now, I seem to be going on a bit, so I will cut to the chase. I think this world has forgotten about individuality, shared experiences, once in a lifetime moments. Not everything has to be explained, sometimes, just doing something, living it, is all it takes. It's not rocket science, people, and neither is Project Humanity. The project is in its very early stages, but is designed to raise awareness of everything that the world is doing that is unnecessary, everything that is selfish, everything that is just, simply put, mean. No drastic changes will need to be made, just little actions to show that there is more out there than technology, plastic and fake news stories generated to degrade and humiliate people. There will be more news on Project Humanity soon, hopefully I will start up a website and will give special credit to all of you wonderful Opussians. Please, though, for now, just think about what I've written and the state the world is in. It's never too late to change anything and certainly never too late to change your outlook on life. Thank you so much for reading this and, please, please, please watch this space for more information.
