A symphony of shadows, In an orchestra of night, Played by ashen horsehair cellos, Under skeletal black light.
All the musicians line the stage, And almost seem to disappear, As bony fingers turn the page, And strike a chord, cold, loud and clear.
While they delude the crowd with melodies, They play until they fall, The twilit orchestra of symphonies, Flash shadows on the wall.
And every note they fire high, Infuses with the churning pack, As they collage a hollow cry, They mix the darkest shade of black.
