#emotion #loss (true story, written in the view of my parents, many, many years ago.)
Sitting in the hospital, upon a satin bed, Where, once again, the camera took a picture of your head, The man, he laughed, said we'd look back, After the operation, And see the girl who lived to find the wonders of creation, You went in there, into that room, A smile on your face, The doctors and the nurses set you down into your place, It went by quick, too quick, in fact, You entered much too fast, He was wrong, there would be no more, That picture was your last.
