Hot dogs roasting on an open barbie, Heat rash nipping at your nose, Radio music being sung in the kitchen, And folks dressed up in birthday suits.

Everybody knows a banger and some satsumas, Help to make the Summer bright, Tiny tots camping out in their tents, Will be too hot to sleep tonight.

They know that Autumn's on its way; It's bringing lots of leaves and dewdrops for the day, And every mother's child is going to spy, To see what she really gets up to in the night. O_o

And so I'm offering this simple phrase, To kids from one to ninety-two, Although its been said many times, many ways, Merry Summer to you!
