He draws the blade across his skin, At night and early morning, She takes another to her own, And gives but not a warning.
He runs ten miles every day, Then stops and starts all over, She jogs and sprints all afternoon, To find her four leaved clover.
He chews and chews on packs of gum, And drinks twelve cups of water, She makes a couple pints of green, But knows she shouldn't oughtta.
His music plays through earphones, Black and beating, days to nights, And hers blast through open stereos, They know each other's fights.
Here, together, one and one make two, And half and half make one, They're prepared to take it slowly, Fighting battles as they come.
